if it's not clear from my social media, i really like nine inch nails and by obvious extension trent reznor
i enjoy his music both for what it is and for how i can connect to it, i have found comfort in it many times
i got into NIN thanks to my friend macaulay, to share something that he also enjoyed, and i ended up obsessing too much
despite listening to a lot of his music, my favorite album still is the downward spiral
i've drawn trent many many times, i find a lot of joy in drawing him and putting him in situations
i admittedly have used him for vent art too, oops
i try to draw many different looks from him but drawing him older is harder for me

sadly i obviously have never seen NIN live, the last time they played in Argentina was around 2014 i think, i don't know if they will ever visit again
my favorite random fact about him is that he was a Doom fan back in the day and then proceeded to work with id to make the Quake soundtrack, how cool is that?
he also voiced Ranger himself from Quake, funnily enough
the composer for the Silent Hill series, Akira Yamaoka, also mentioned him as an inspiration for the first game's soundtrack
i have drawn designs to how he would look as a Vocaloid
there's also trent tiger, my probably weirdest way to show appreciation
